Comfy bed, large room, provided a crib for our baby. Great views of the river, especially at night with all the lighted boats. Great big bathtub
While the location is very scenic and great for R&R, this is not the place to stay if you plan on shopping. It's nowhere close to any of the big shopping malls. Also, our room was too warm! This is a common problem in China during the spring time. We expected this hotel to be different since it caters to westerners. Our thermostat was set on 16 and if was about 24 in our room.

The breakfast here was really good, they even had delicious local noodles. the hotel is right at the heart of everything, close to all the main attractions, and you can easily catch a taxi 🚖 from there.

Comfortable bed and pillows. Nice view although no river view. Very friendly 2nd floor restaurant staff, good breakfast.
Hotel charged a higher room rate than my Booked.net reservation rate. I don't understand why.

Well, its was Saturday 26th, and a live band was advertised at the Irish bar, but none was performing- a little dissapointed

The hotel was easy to find and had excellent staff from the resident manager to the breakfast waitresses. I enjoyed a nice meal at the restaurant they recommended, and the bedrooms with the river view were fairly good.

Breakfast room is nice although not heated enough. The bed is ok eventhough not long enough
Advertised on Booked.net as with a sauna while there is not, service is really average, no signs in the room "do not disturb" to put on the handle, and so got awoken by the maids twice the same day. The bathtub is far too shallow for an adult to take a decent bath.

Once the room was "corrected", really enjoyed our stay. View of Yangtze river fantastic. Breakfast buffet worth the extra money. Both Chinese and western selections.
Even though we had booked a "river view" room, when we checked in, we were given a room with "2 rivers view". Which was true, but a)to see the Yangtze, you had to sit in the corner of the room and look out, not visible from anywhere else. b)The other river could be seen in the distance (green strip, no water), but what was most evident in that direction was the a/c farm of cooling units. We mentioned our displeasure to the front desk, and Ms. Selina immediately gave us another room, and personally helped us move. This second room was the room we were expecting. Not really near any restaurants other than the hotel's. Avoid the EXPENSIVE restaurant outside of the hotel to the left of the street entrance. POOR service, overpriced. Worth eating outside before returning to the hotel.

Fabulous view of cherry blossoms and Yangzi River
Lovely big room overlooking the river. Helpful and upfront staff. Excellent guest relations. Free Sunday BBQ at Irish pub. Silent and peaceful location. Attentive male staff at beer bar. Beautiful QingChuan pavilion view
Nothing I didn't like to be fair.

The bed was so comfortable. Although the room was small, it was still nice to just stay in and relax.
The hotel is not so close to the metro station so it is a bit out of the way if you want to go to the shopping areas such as Hanjie or Jianghan road.

It backed on to an amazing park along the river! We only stayed one night as we were in transit, but the park was a lovely surprise.
